Open House - Thank You!
Thank you to all the parents and students who attended our open house and PTA event. It was wonderful to see you all and share our excitement for this school year!
We are excited about our progress in shifting to the Empower platform, which will, among many other things, replace our 2018/19 progress report. Teachers are learning about the system throughout the month of September. We look forward to sharing more information about parent and student access in the coming weeks. If you missed it last time, please view this video for a brief introduction to Empower.
Based on feedback from parents, students, and teachers and increased familiarity with Empower, we have adjusted our grading scale for student assessments. Please click the link below for the revised scale and an update on competencies.
iPAD Update
We anticipate rolling out iPads to students the week of 9/23. We're still waiting on some replacement charging bricks and cases. Once we begin, it will take a few days to distribute several hundred devices to students.
Please make sure you have completed the registration form, paid the usage fee, and cleared any outstanding fines. A huge thanks to Ms. Biddlecome for managing this process.
Please follow the carpool guidelines from our website (linked above). The area in front of the main entrance is the only appropriate pick-up and drop-off zone. In addition, please do not use parking lots of local businesses to wait for arrival or dismissal. We want to be good neighbors and appreciate your help.
Student Agendas
Agendas are for sale ($3) all of next week from 7:00-7:30 in front of Student Services.
(required for 6th graders and optional for 7th/8th graders)
