From the North High Student Services Department:
North has five counselors, each with a caseload of 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. There is also a School Social Worker, School Psychologist, Reading Specialist and a Transition Specialist located within the Student Services Office. Summer School Credit Recovery or Credit Advancement Information
Summer School registration is now available (for credit recovery and credit advancement).
If you failed a required course Summer School is a great opportunity to get back on track towards graduation. Failure to make up credits that were failed in a timely manner may impact your ability to graduate on time - with your class. There are 2 different credit recovery options for students - with different structures and requirements to meet individual student needs:
1) Traditional Summer School (at South High School this summer). Here is the information for traditional Summer School = High School Credit Recovery
2) Central High School Credit Recovery Courses.

If you are looking to take credit advancement courses this summer then check out the online course options through Warriner High School. These are online classes and should not be taken if you failed a class (so NOT for credit recovery).

Information for Senior Students
Requesting Your Final Transcripts for the College You Will Be Attending
Requesting your FINAL - END OF YEAR transcripts for colleges/universities:
Any requests for transcripts to be sent to a college/university as of May 1st will be deemed as a final transcript request. These transcripts are typically sent to the colleges/universities during the end of June and after final grades have been processed at the end of the school year. If you need an initial transcript sent to a prospective college/university as of May 1st then please stop in and see Mrs. Bitney in the Student Services Center (room 104).
Follow the instructions on the attached sheet if you need to send out your transcripts to a college, university, technical college or the NCAA/NAIA. If you have any questions please stop in (or contact) the Student Services Office.
If you have utilized the Common App for the application process, then your counselor will be submitting your final transcript to the schools that are part of your Common Application. You do NOT have to also request to send your transcript for your Common App schools through Xello.

Laude Recognition Reminder for Seniors
1) Cum Laude: 4.600 - 4.999
2) Magna Cum Laude: 5.000 - 5.299
3) Summa Cum Laude: 5.300 +
To see where you are currently you can check your "Portfolio" in Skyward and reference your last report card. Look for your Cumulative Weighted GPA. Remember, your final Weighted GPA is what will be used at the end of your senior year. This semester (as does every semester) counts.

Need your GPA? Check your Portfolio in Skyward and reference your last report card. The GPA that should be reported out is your unweighted, cumulative GPA (not your weighted GPA).

Sargento Student Mentoring Day Opportunity
Nursing Camp 2023
June 12–15, 2023 - Monday through Thursday, 9 am - 3 pm
Marian University will host a nursing camp open to high school students graduating in 2024 or 2025 interested in nursing, allied health, and other health sciences..
Where: Marian University Fond du Lac, WI Campus
Costs: $25
The camp will feature sessions taught by faculty and area professionals, and will include hands-on learning opportunities. All participants who attend the camp, then apply and are admitted to Marian University will receive an annual $500 scholarship. This camp is limited to the first 20 students who apply and are approved.

Students: If you are submitting any community service hours forms AND you want those hours to be counted towards your National Honors Society (NHS) requirements then you will need to:
1) have a counselor or Student Services Secretary make a copy of your form(s) for your counselor - and then
2) keep your original form(s) until your service hours are to be turned in for your National Honors Society application.
