#GivingTuesday
Hello Panther Parents,
I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving filled with relaxation, friends, family and happiness. Although I had a great break, I am so glad to be back with the kids! They are a huge part of my happiness and I’m so grateful that you entrust them to me each day.
Running this school wouldn’t be possible without your support! We have had more volunteers this year than New Prospect has ever seen and are so appreciative!
We are so thankful for monetary donations too! This year, we only did one giving fundraiser, our Annual Giving Campaign, where 100% of donations go straight to our school. These funds support all the great things in your kids’ classes as well as our free family events (see pictures below). We are so close to meeting our goal (only $5,500 short) and would appreciate any donations on this #GivingTuesday. Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. If you haven’t donated to NPE, please consider doing so today. We are looking forward to spending our academic enrichment and technology funds to continue to buy classroom library books as well as replace some older iPads.

Thank you for all of your support!

New Prospect's First Ever Holiday Shop is Coming This Week!
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to shop for parents, family, and friends and experience the joy of bringing home secret gifts that they have chosen!
Students previewed the store on yesterday and will be shopping 11/28 - 11/30. In addition to scheduled time during their school day, the store will be open 11/28-11/30 from 7:10 - 7:40 am and on Thursday, 11/29 from 3-5 pm. Gifts range in price from $0.25 to $14.50 so there is something for everyone!
If you would like to volunteer to be a shopper's helper or gift wrapper, please sign up here... https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080b4fa8a823a4fe3-holiday
Please be sure to send your child with money (cash or check payable to the school only) to shop on their shopping days! Shopping will be done differently than book fair. Teachers will only send students who have money to purchase to the store in small groups throughout their shopping day.

Hello Parents!

Please note that you will be notified if your student qualifies for a placement change next semester. If you have any questions about this process, feel free to contact me at zarzourd@fultonschools.org

Come Help us at Career Day!
Career Day is December 7th ! Do you want to help your child’s class learn more about potential careers? We are looking for volunteers that are able to come in and share information about their jobs with students on Friday December 7 from 8-10am, spending about 15 minutes each with four different classes. During your presentation you can talk about your career or what your company does. Feel free to bring in hands-on materials, show videos & other visual aids to help students understand what it is that you do and why you chose the career. Last year our students enjoyed learning about web design, nursing, real estate, business, food production, etc. We need representation from the following career clusters: Agriculture, food, and natural resources, Architecture and Construction, Arts, Audio/Video Technology, and Communications, Business Management and Administration, Health Science, Hospitality and Tourism, Human Services, Information Technology, Law, Public Safety, Corrections, and Security, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales and Service, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics. Please contact Christina McLeod if you interested or need more information: mcleodcr@fultonschools.org

Not too late to Donate!
Have you donated to our annual giving campaign yet? It’s not too late! Our annual giving campaign is our only fundraiser this year and we are still almost $6,000 from our goal of $30,000.
Please support the Technology Maintenance Fund. The school is in need to replace many iPads used by our K-2 students.
Please consider donating today. Our Panther level donors receive RESERVED PARKING at many events including next week’s Taste of New Prospect, as well as a free yearbook, tickets to the school play, and reserved seating at 5th grade graduation. Please visit our website to review the donation levels and make your donation today to receive all the benefits of membership!
*If you’ve already donated, you can still increase your donation to reach the Panther level and receive all Panther benefits!*
