SEPTEMBER NEWS!

Dismissal/Pick Up Reminder:

In order for us keep our car lines moving quickly and safely, we need parents to download the mobile app., PiKMyKid and click the announce button. When our staff has to manually enter in your child's number it slows down the flow of traffic so we are asking for parents to do their part.

Information & instructions were given out at the beginning of the school year. If you need assistance downloading the app or if you are having technical issues, please directly contact PikMyKid at support@pikmyklid.com. The school purchase of the app includes technical support. Special THANKS to our awesome PTO for purchasing the app for our school!!

Health & Safety:

  • Please do not send your child to school if he/she is sick or not feeling well.
  • Breakfast AND lunch are served in the classrooms in order to cut down on transitions through the school day & help mitigate COVID-19.
  • Students are distanced 3 to 6 feet within the classrooms to the extent possible.
  • Masks are recommended indoors, but not required. **Masks are required on school buses.**

Quarantined Students:

We will continue to provide students with instruction &/or learning opportunities while out of the building. Quarantine situations vary so your child's distance learning will depend on their situation. Your child’s teacher will be reach out to you with details in regards to distance learning and provide details and materials.

Good News Club Postponed

Good News Club has been postponed. If you signed your child up for Good News Club at Open House, please be on the lookout for an email from them with more information.

PTO Fundraiser:

Charleston Wrap

Charleston Wrap wrapping paper is great quality, but we hope you will consider shopping with us for your family Christmas gifts, corporate gifting, etc. The candies and nuts make great gifts for your businesses’ customers this Christmas. Money raised will go to support our Fine Arts program.

We also have an OPT OUT option - for those individuals that want to support our school directly and chose not to sell the products from Charleston Wrap. If someone wants to 'opt out' and donate $30 directly to WES PTO, they will get their name placed in the drawing for one of the 10 robo botz. If a $60 donation is given, their name will be placed x2, etc.

Thank you for supporting our school!
