The Witching Hour Draws Near: Farewell, October!
Farewell, October - The Ghostly Deadline Looms!👻
With the conclusion of October and the looming CTEC deadlines, we find ourselves with only two months remaining until the dawn of a fresh season. As we prepare for this transition, I would like to extend my gratitude to all those who have reached out to ensure we fixed any issues reflecting on my reports.
I will be sending a recap email to Kurt today, addressing any inaccuracies on my CTEC report. To ensure transparency, I will include screenshots of the CTEC report, highlighting those who have successfully navigated their way through and those who may need to tread cautiously in the red zone.
61 Tax Pros have completed their CE🎊!!!!
Wooohoo!!!!
I understand that there may be some confusion around the status of completion for a few individuals. Allow me to clarify the situation. Although the status may appear as "incomplete" for these six individuals, I have included them in the completed list because they have met their CTEC deadline. However, there is an additional requirement to fulfill, and that is the HR Block requirements.
To provide more information and help you keep track of what's missing, I have sent an email with an Excel spreadsheet attached. Please refer to that spreadsheet for detailed notes on what needs to be completed. It's important to note that HR Block hours must be completed by November 30th to meet the deadline.
If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to me. Let's work together to ensure we meet all the necessary requirements and successfully navigate this process.
HRB CE hours and IRS CE hours. . . There is a difference!
PLEASE READ!!!!
As I navigate between my CE compliance report and my CTEC compliance report, I can see where the confusion comes from . Allow me to clarify: IRS CE can be completed from November 1 to October 31, while HRB CE can be completed from January 1 to November 30. The IRS requires 10 Federal CE hours, whereas HRB requires 13 Federal CE hours. This isn't new information, but I'm concerned that some of you may be unaware. I've already provided all the necessary details. If anyone possesses a certificate from an external source, please email it to me as soon as possible.
12 Tax Pros have made Progress 👏!!!!!
Almost There!!!!!
If your name appears on this list, it indicates that you have made significant progress towards completing your requirements. I want to acknowledge your efforts and commend you for being so close to finishing.
I would like to remind everyone to refer to the email I sent, as it contains important notes specific to each individual. I understand that it can be easy to forget the information shared during our conversations, so please take the time to review the email thoroughly.
For those of you who have already completed your CTEC requirements, please email me your Certificates of Completion at your earliest convenience. This will allow me to promptly forward them to Kurt.
Waiting until the day of Halloween may pose a risk of your CTEC being submitted late and you having to pay the late fee. To ensure we met the deadline, I had kindly request everyone to inform me of their completion by the end of Thursday this week and only a handful of people did.
0 Progress!!!! 😩
DANGER!!!!!
