LMS Tiger Talk
March 3, 2023
Principal's Message
Next week marks the last week of 4th quarter, and we took the opportunity this week to check in with our 8th grade student teams to review our Tiger Up! Core Values of Care, Respect, and Responsibility heading into the 4th quarter. We applauded our students for their outstanding work during the 3rd quarter, reviewed expectations for students at school, on the bus and in the cafeteria, and discussed some upcoming incentives to look forward to for the spring (did someone say Kings Island???). We'll be meeting with our 7th grade student teams the first week of 4th quarter. With only a few weeks to go til Spring Break, I'd say everyone has their fair share of spring fever, especially with the continued awesome weather!
I want to again thank and commend our students for their behavior during our scheduled, K-9 safety drill which occurred this week at school (message sent to families on Thursday morning). The safety search is a part of our comprehensive safety plan here at school and is an ongoing effort to provide the safest learning environment for our students as possible. If you have any follow up questions on the drill, please be sure to reach out to me.
Wishing you all a great weekend!
Take care and Go Tigers!
David Knapp
LMS Principal

LMS Food/Drink Policy Reminder
We want to remind all families of the outside food and drink policy that is in place here at LMS which also applies to our cafeteria.
LMS has a policy that does NOT permit food or drink to be delivered to school during school hours unless brought in by the student's parent/guardian specifically for the individual student. You can access our Student Handbook which includes all policies and procedures in place at LMS here.

Join the LMS Spring Coed Bowling Club!
Who should join? Any LMS 7th or 8th grader interested in having some fun and learning a little more about the game. Both boys and girls are welcome!
What is the commitment? Once a week on Tuesdays for 5 weeks beginning on April 11th and ending on May 9th.
Where do we bowl? Crossgate Lanes (in Blue Ash) which are the home lanes for the Boys and Girls High School Bowling teams.
What is the cost? Cost is $8, all you can bowl from 3:15-4:45. Includes bowling shoes.
How do we get there? A bus will pick you up from LMS at 2:45 and will have you back at around 5:15.
Is this an actual sport for my school? No, this is a club. You won’t bowl against other schools. You’ll just bowl with each other.
What if I have never bowled before? No problem! This club is for bowlers of all levels. And you’re likely to improve if you can come every week!
Will I learn much about the game? Absolutely! We definitely want to have some fun. But Coach Adams will be there to help you improve on your game as well!
