Immunization for Incoming 7th Graders
Nevada State Law requires that a student receive the MCV4 (Meningococcal) vaccination and the Tdap vaccination prior to entering 7th grade.
If your child has not received the required MCV4 and/or Tdap immunization(s), take the form and any existing immunization records to your health care provider or the Southern Nevada Health District to obtain the required vaccine(s). The Southern Nevada Health District’s clinic sites can be found at https://www.southernnevadahealthdistrict.org/
Provide a copy of the updated immunization record to the front office prior to the first day of school. It is recommended to complete this as soon as possible to avoid any issue for your child the first day of school.
If your child is exempt from any immunization(s), please provide the necessary documentation.
Should you have any questions or require additional information, please call the school at 702-799-7470.
Lost and Found Items
Hoodies and IDs
Now that it is warm, students do not need to wear hoodies, especially over their head. Please speak to your child about this. If they do have a hoodie on, the hood should never be pulled over their head while on campus. It is extremely important for students to have their school-issued ID on every day, all day so we can easily identify our KO students, for campus safety.
Thank you for your support!
