Our second Membership Meeting of the year is this Thursday, November 16, at 7 PM, in the Main Commons. Join us as we share where we are as a program, what we have planned, and learn more about the Booster Board. We hope to see you there!

Concert season has begun and your students are in the process of being fit for their concert wear. Tuxedo jackets, tuxedo pants, bow ties and concert dresses are provided by the school. Below you will find a list of items that are necessary to complete the concert attire. If you do not already have the items below, you will need to purchase them before the first concert.

If your student is wearing a tuxedo (all bands):

• White, button down dress shirt with a fold down collar
• Black dress socks
• Black dress shoes (not your black marching shoes!)

If your student is wearing a concert dress (Concert, Symphonic and Symphonic Winds):

• Black dress shoes

If your student is wearing concert black (Wind Symphony females):

• Black, full length dress pants
• Black dress shirt/blouse
• Black dress shoes
• Examples below of Wind Symphony female attire.

Each year during the month of May, $700 scholarships are awarded to the top seven band and/or color guard members who have successfully completed the Booster Scholarship Application Package. In order for your senior to be eligible, membership must be purchased by 12/31/23.

Holiday Extravaganza!

The Seven Lakes HS Fine Arts Department is delighted to present our annual “Holiday Extravaganza” on Thursday, December 7, on the campus of Seven Lakes High School. This holiday event features performances from all of our Fine Arts, accompanied by dinner and a silent auction: it’s a night not to be missed!

Our Freshman Center doors open at 5:30 pm and dinner, catered locally by UR Way Catering by Eric, will be served in the Freshman Cafeteria. You’ll be welcomed by our orchestra ensembles performing chamber music, delightful dances from our Sapphires and JV Spartanaires, spirited serenades from the Sensations, and a humorous performance from Studio VII Theatre Co. The concert, which starts at 7:00 pm will showcase performances from our Chorale, Symphonic Winds and Symphony Orchestra. The highlight of the evening is our Not-So-Silent Auction where the auction winner could bid to win an opportunity to conduct “Sleigh Ride” for the Symphony Orchestra as the Finale!

Proceeds from the Dinner Tickets, Silent Auction, and Concert directly benefit our Spring Musical and Masterworks Series. Ring in the holiday season by attending this event and support the award-winning Fine Arts Department! Ticketing goes live on November 13, so visit Studio VII Theatre Co. to purchase your night of incredible entertainment!

Dinner tickets close on Dec. 1, and usually sell out beforehand, so get them early. Concert only tickets are available up until concert starts.
