First Law of Motion
By: Colby Moore
What is the First Law of Motion?
The motion of an object will remain the same (either at rest or moving at a constant speed in a straight line) in the absence of unbalanced forces; if a change in motion is observed, there must be a net force on the object.

Here, there is force acted on this object.
First Law of Motion
Objects at rest, stay at rest and objects in motion stay in motion, unless an external (net) force acts on the object.
Inertia
Inertia
Inertia is the tendency for an object to resist a change in motion due to its mass.
