Air & Space Museum Visit

Pre-K, K and first grade had a great trip to the Air and Space Museum! Their transportation week included airplanes, rocket ships and A BUS RIDE!

8th Grade Class vs Faculty Kickball Game

The 8th grade class has challenged the faculty to a game of kickball on Wednesday, May 11 @ 1:45 pm. Parent volunteers are needed to supervise the classes. Volunteers must be virtus trained. Please click on the link below to view the online sign up sheet.

Movie Night

Academic Expo & Silent Auction

The Silent Auction will be held during the Academic Expo and Band Concert scheduled for Thursday, May 19. Classroom baskets will be auctioned at that time. Baskets to include Breakfast, Movie Night, Game Night, BBQ, Sweet Treats and Sunday Relaxation just to name a few.

Field Day Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed on Friday, May 27 to help supervise the various games and work the kitchen on Field Day. Please click on the link below to view the online sign up sheet.

Father Hughes Scholarship

The Father Hughes Scholarship is open to any student whose family is a registered, participating member of St. Matthias Parish. The scholarship program is funded by the parishioners of St. Matthias and is awarded to a student that is in need of financial assistance in order to enroll in, maintain, or assist in keeping that student at St. Matthias. Searching for a Summer Camp

Archbishop Spalding is offering a Summer Engineering Camp for rising 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. The Cavalier Engineering Camp explores a variety of engineering concepts and careers through hands-on projects and experiential learning. The camp introduces participants to engineering in a fun and exciting environment. Each session is limited to 20 participants and runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. The cost is $200 which includes all supplies and a pizza lunch on Friday. Register online at:

Anne Arundel County Public Schools will be offering immersion summer World Language camps. The first camp runs from July 11-21, 8:30-3:30 pm at Meade Middle School located near Fort Meade, Maryland. This program offers two weeks of language adventure for rising 4th-6th graders

The second camp, El Campo del Bosque, is open to rising 1st - 5th grade students. The camp runs from August 8-11, 8:30-3:30 pm at Arlington Echo located in Millersville, Maryland.

Third Annual Roadrunner Elizabeth Seton Golf Tournament

Choir meets each Wednesday until the end of the school year. Pickup in the front at 4:15 pm, please be prompt.
