MCS Weekly Update
April 2, 2021
From the desk of Miss Gina
It is a beautiful day in Marble today. We had a great time kicking the ball around The Children’s Park a.k.a. Thompson Park for P.E.
A big thank you to all of the current board members and to those who are running for a seat. It takes time and dedication that is much appreciated. The MCS Board Election Ballots were sent in the mail today. Each parent should receive a ballot with a self-addressed stamped envelope. Please send your marked ballots in by April 19th. We will count and announce the results April 21 and the elected board members will join the Board at the May 6th meeting. Please return to:
Marble Charter School
418 W Main St.
Marble, CO 81623
Please make sure you sign up for student-led conferences next Thursday evening or Friday morning. If these times do not work for you, please get in touch with your child’s teacher to work it out. This is an important time to celebrate all that students have been doing this quarter.
We do not have school April 23rd and 26th.
TAMALES are BACK!
From the MCS Kitchen
Here is the April menu, with the order form link for next week. I am also sending out hard copies. Because this Sunday is Easter, I will most likely be shopping on Saturday, so please respond as soon as you can, though I will take late orders due to the short time frame.
REMINDER: There is no school lunch offered of Friday. Please send a lunch in with your child/ren!
Thank you all and have a great weekend!
Fun times with the K-2 Students!

Swinging into Spring!
From the Art Room
This 3-5 class took time to create lovely, quilled clovers!
The K-2 students impressed us all with their mountain-making skills! They also made fun rainbows!
I sincerely appreciate the paper rolls and egg cartons that have been sent in! I am very passionate about reusing and re-purposing EVERYTHING and this helps to create so many fun projects! Thank you again!
Hoppy Easter, everyone!
