No Homework Club on Wednesdays in February
Due to Ski Club trips and Early Release days, we will not be holding Homework Club on Wednesday afternoons in February. Wednesday HW Club meetings will resume on March 15.
Feel free to join us for HW Club after school in the cafeteria on Tuesdays and Thursdays!

Family Wellness Resource News this month includes important information related to SNAP benefits, Mass Health insurance, local February vacation ideas, information for caregivers on youth social media use, and some upcoming events. With so much tragedy reported in the news, you will also find some reminders of resources for anyone in distress. Have a nice school vacation week with your families!
Course Selection Process for King Philip High School
The 8th to 9th grade Course Selection Process will be open to students and families on Monday, February 13th. The process must be completed by Friday, February 17th.
During this process, students and families will be able to view the recommendations made by teachers and select classes to complete the scheduling process. All 8th grade students should complete this process, regardless of their plans for high school next year.
The following documents will be helpful in completing this process:
- Course Selection Checklist
This provides the steps to take in Infinite Campus to complete the process and a checklist that outlines the Course Selection requirements.
- Freshmen Course Card
This lists all classes available to incoming freshmen and important points to consider when making your selections.
- Program of Studies
This contains class descriptions and recommendation requirements.

On Friday, February 10th, students watched a video of the Course Selection Slide Show in order to gain a better understanding of what to expect and do. A hard copy of the Course Selection Checklist and the Freshmen Course Card was also provided to all 8th grade students. Copies will also be available to pick up in the Guidance Office. Lastly, students have been invited to join the 8th Grade Guidance Google Classroom where they will be able to find all of these resources.
