- Mrs. Bradshaw for introducing structures for math discourse to her kindergarten class. They have been analyzing their work and using stems to engage in discussion.
- Mr. Martin for his well planned and executed place value task and reteach activities for his students.
- Ms. Kirby for always checking to make sure staff is ok.
- Ms. Stapleton for always being available and flexible.
- Ms. Offor for ensuring we are up and running as smooth as possible each day.
- Ms. Hyde for initiating the practice of celebrating each other.

- Ms. Rosettie for always interacting and trying new things with our students that they might not be exposed to in other environments. My students are always so excited to go to art and express their creativity.
- Mrs. Brown helped me today with some benefits questions and saved me hours of stress. I truly appreciate you!!!
Attendance
- Greetings! To kick off the final stretch of 2019, Miner will be engaging in Winter Attendance Wars! Each grade-level (K-5) will be competing for the Title of ‘Best Attendance,’ meaning students are on-time and present every day. Please see the attached flyers for the details.
- IMPACT Student Surveys window is now open. Those teachers who were assigned to be surveyed, please review the schedule for your designed time. Please see Ms. Offor if you have any questions or concerns.
Operations
- To keep accurate data of all employees time it's very important that everyone sign-in and sign-out every day. When signing in and out please write legibly so we can understand the time you're writing on the timesheets. We want to make sure everyone is being paid the correct hours worked. Also, if there is an emeregency, the log provides information with regards to who is in the building.
- Preventing Sexual Harrassment Training: Please ensure you have compelted or are completing the DCPS required trainig. The email was send on 9/30/19 and the training is due by January. THis is required to be updated every 2 years.
- Youth Behavioral Health Training - This training is also due every two years and mus be compelted by January. It can be found here: https://www.supportdcyouth.com
