# Unit 2 Reflections

## Introuction to Unit 2

In unit two we learned how to use different steps to solve one step equations. Some steps include add, subtract, divide and multiply. Then we applied the same steps to solve multistep and two step equations. We also used variables to help solve equations.

## OneStep Equations In this one step equation you first have to subtract the constant which is 12 to get zero on the left side then you have to do the same thing on the other side so you would subtract 12 from 25. The answer is 13. | ## Twostep Equations In this equation the first thing you need to do is subtract the constant which is 5 from positive 5 and 29 on the other side. Next, you need to divide both sides by 8. The your answer is 3. | ## Multi-step Equations The first thing you need to do is combine like terms so you need to add 5b with 3b to get 8b. Then you need to combine 8 and 4 to get 12. Next, you need to subtract 12 on both sides. Then you divide both sides by 3 your answer is 8. |
