SUMMER UNIFORM ORDERS & REPLACEMENT ITEMS: DUE BY 7/21
Who needs to fill out the form below?
- Incoming new-to-JHS band students (all 9th grade and 10-12th grade students NEW to JHS band)
- 10th grade band students
Who DOES NOT need to fill out this form?
- Returning brass, woodwind or percussion students grades 11-12 who previously received this package
- Color Guard members - Guard members will receive a separate email regarding guard uniforms and sizing.
Please fill out the SUMMER UNIFORM SIZING AND PACKAGE REQUEST no later than Tuesday, July 20th to ensure items are received before the first football game.
**measurements that were taken in May were for PERFORMANCE TOPS - not summer uniforms.
RETURNING 11th & 12th grade students:
Please note that returning 11th & 12th grade Jaguar Band students should NOT respond to the sizing and package request form.

URGENT! Additional Sizing Needed for Performance Tops
AND THEY NEED THESE MEASUREMENTS BY MONDAY!!
So, please help us out! Get your students measurements submitted by either coming by the band hall TOMORROW (7/10) between 10am - 2pm or submitting your measurements via the form below NO LATER THAN SUNDAY, JULY 11th.
NOTE: Color Guard and Drum Majors DO NOT need to fill out this form!
TUESDAYS ARE OPEN BAND HALL DAYS!
If students are interested in scheduling practice time at the band hall outside of those days/hours, please contact Ida Musgrove at president@johnsonbands.com.
Don't forget that you can meet up with your sections anywhere! Be creative and schedule a practice meeting at a park! Wherever you choose to meet, it is great to get together, have fun, and also feel prepared for what is going to be an amazing (and challenging ;-) year!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR WORK DAYS!
The Jaguar Build Crew is having a work day on Saturday, July 17 from 8-11am. They will be fixing up the trailers, building storage, and reorganizing the guard room.
If you like to work with your hands, have some craftmanship skills, like to repair items, or help repair and/or build props, shelves, or other items needed by the band programs, then come on out and lend a helping hand!
We welcome ALL members of our families to help but do want to point out that this is the committee where our DADS, UNCLES, GRANDPA'S, and BROTHERS seem to like to volunteer!
And truth be told, our moms, aunts, grandma's and sisters are primarily the ones that volunteer for all of the other support services the boosters provide the band...So, let's go guys, here's your chance to do your part! Hope to see you Saturday!

Do your part and volunteer for at least one event this year! If you can volunteer more than that, it will be truly appreciated and you might be surprised at fulfilling and fun it is too!

INTRODUCING YOUR 2021-2022 JAGUAR BAND PARENT SECTION LEADS!
"Section Parent Leads" will be the first point of contact for parents within their section that are seeking answers to basic questions that veteran band parents generally can answer - questions like "what is a bibber?" or "how do I sign up for meal plans?"
Be on the lookout for communications from your lead listed below! Communications throughout the year will take place via GroupMe. Each Section Parent Lead will add parent contact info into the section GroupMe. If you wish to not be included in this informative group, please contact your parent section lead.
p.s. GroupMe will also be the platform we will use during the Spring Break Hawaii trip so this practice will come in handy!

Most of us work all day, just like you do! We do the work to set up meal plans, help organize measuring and picture days, create the website, etc. during our non-work hours.
Please be supportive and patient.
Rude comments and criticism do not solve your concerns. However, volunteering to help so that you can address your concerns can!
So, please be nice and supportive and, if you disapprove of the work, don't complain...VOLUNTEER to help it get better!
