Accreditation Parent Survey
In order to receive additional data regarding our Accreditation Goals, there is a survey for the following groups to complete:
- Students
- Parents
- Staff
The Archdiocese of Cincinnati creates standard surveys for all the schools to use as the schools gather data for their Accreditation goals. Below is the Parent Survey link.
The survey will be open from August 26 - September 12. Please take time to complete the survey. Your thoughts are truly appreciated!

Crusader Kitchen Update
Free and Reduced Lunch
The application is available at www.StAlbertNutritionService.com under the "2022-2023 Free and Reduced Meal Application" tab on the top of the website. You may view the form directly at THIS LINK (PDF).
Parents seeking to submit an application can either fill out the form directly online OR they can print the form and fill out by hand.
Forms can be submitted online to application@stalbertnutritionservice.com OR they can be submitted in a sealed envelope to the front office to be turned into the Kitchen Manager for processing.
Students who were eligible for free/reduce meals prior to the 2020-21 school year (when the Pandemic Relief began providing free meals to all students regardless of income status) will continue to be eligible through the end of September 2022 based on their prior status.
Please encourage families who might benefit from this program to apply, even if they are not sure. Eligibility changes year over year based on changes to the income guidelines as set forth by the federal government/USDA. Student/family eligibility is always kept completely confidential by by SANS staff.
SNACKS UPDATE
I want to thank all the parents for adding money to their child's account and to the students for learning + typing in their pin numbers.
The first day for a la carte sales will be Monday, August 29.
For the first lunch (Kindergarten-3 grade), students will be able to purchase à la carte items such as juice, bucket snacks, ice cream, sticky buns and muffins. Each class will have an assigned day to purchase snacks.
Mondays- Kindergarten
Tuesdays- 1st Grade
Wednesdays- 2nd Grade
Thursdays- 3rd Grade
Fridays- Rotation of K-3 classes
For the second lunch (4th-8th grade), same snacks available as above. In addition, for $1.50, the students may purchase items such as hotdogs or cheeseburgers. We will also offer any extra main lunch options, for purchase ($1.50); once the students who ordered lunch have been served.

Mass and Prayer Service Schedules
The School Mass will be Wednesday mornings, beginning at 9:00 a.m., in the Church. The School Mass will start on Wednesday, September 14.
The weekly Prayer Services will take place on Friday mornings from 8:55-9:15 a.m. in the Gym. The first Prayer Service was completed today by the 7th grade class! The class did an amazing job leading the school in prayer!

Employment Opportunities
KITCHEN SERVER
St Albert Nutrition Service is hiring for the server position at Saint Francis. This position is a great way to be part of our amazing lunch crew and spend part of your day helping our wonderful SFDS students!
Hours are flexible, but are approximately 10 hours per week/2 hours per day, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
CRUSADER CARE
St. Francis De Sales School is looking for 2 providers (one for before school care and one for after school care).The before school care position is from 7:00-8:30 a.m.
The after school care position is 3:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Flexible scheduling is available. Candidates will be paid $15 per hour.
Candidates will be required to obtain fingerprints, a background check, and be current with Safe Parish, prior to starting the position. Candidates will assist with crafts, games, etc. as well as supervision and general care of students.
