Latest News
We are now in full swing and our kids are doing GREAT! We are continuing with our attendance challenge and are above our 97% school-wide goal. We need to keep going strong these next 5 days!
Please do not forget about Open House TONIGHT!! We hope to see you!
We received a phone call from one of our bus drivers regarding the traffic in the back of the school during morning and after school drop off. Please remember to take caution when in the back of CMS. The back entrance is for bus drop off only. It is also an entrance for teachers/staff who which to park in the back. If you are going to drop off your students in the back, we ask that you drop them off at the crosswalk on Amberwood loop. This way they can cross and use the sidewalk to walk to the building. Any other drop off is unsafe. The alternative is the front parent drop off area. We appreciate your help with this concern.
We will have our first Cougartime on Friday, September 27th. This will be a hour of free time for any student EXCEPT those who not received a referral from 9/3-9/26 OR for those that have NOT completed their summer reading. Concessions will be open for students to purchase food and drinks. We love rewarding our students who follow the Cougar Way!
On September 26th, students carry over lunch application status from the 2018-19 year will expire. At that time student will be charged full PAID status for all meals. In order to avoid this circumstance, please follow the link below and fill out a 2019-2020 application. If you have any questions regarding your child's lunch application, please contact the Child Nutrition Office at 512-268-1336
Below is a link to our school supply list we published in the beginning of the year. We barely received any tissue or hand sanitizer. We didn't even collect enough to give one to each teacher. We would greatly appreciate you sending tissue and hand sanitizer. Please have your child drop them off in the front office.
Please take a look at the information below. Most of it is repetitive but it's always good to take a look at what is coming up.
Thank you for your support and please let us know how we can help you.
