Important Dates
May 1 Catch up day for students
May 4-5 Independent learning, optional related arts activities, and virtual planning for teachers to print packets for students without access to digital tools
May 6 Independent learning, packet 1 and 2 drop off at school/packet pickup for part 3
7 a.m. to 10 a.m. (in the car rider line)
May 7 Independent learning, packet 1 and 2 drop off at school/Packet pickup for part 3
2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (in the car rider line)
May 8 Packet and eLearning part 3 begins
May 25 Memorial Day Holiday (no eLearning)

U.S. Census
Remember to fill out your census form. Census data ensures our schools receive their fair share of resources. Ensuring every resident in South Carolina is counted during the 2020 census will help our schools for the next 10 years. Please go to www.my2020census.gov and complete your census today. Other Important Information
- The Fort Mill School District has deleted fees paid for any upcoming canceled field trips which the District has received vendor refunds for. Your credit is reflected in your student’s online Pay Fees account. Any credits will remain on your student’s account and will be applied to your 2020-2021 registration fees in May. If you have any questions regarding fees, please contact our school bookkeeper:
- “Important message regarding medication pick up from Nurse Sova: All emergency medications need to be picked up prior to the end of the school year! Medication pick up will be during packet pick up times May 6th from 7-10am and May 7th from 2pm-4pm. If your child has an emergency medication in the health room, please plan to come during one of these times to pick up the medication. You may park and call 803-548-8160 and Nurse Sova will bring the medication to your car.”

- On the May 6-7 pick up days and on the May 29th drop off/collect belongings date, please return any library books. We will collect them in the car rider lines as we pass out belongings and packets.

Mrs. Cageao- has a subscription to Shapegrams. The first 4 Shapegrams are free. There are many drawing and general tool bar skills to learn while having fun. Join the fun by logging into your Google Drive > Click on the waffle & Classroom > click + in the top right to add a class > the class code is 2wrlmte. Watch the video to learn cool tricks and tips and start with 1 and work your way to the higher numbers. Have fun!
I have created a Google Classroom for Shapegrams. The code for students to join is: 2wrlmte I encourage them to watch the video before starting the activity.
It is fun and the kids will learn many tips and tools for using Google G Suite not just Google Drawing. Please share with your students this information I would appreciate it. I will upload a new Shapegram every Monday and Wednesday.
A weekly coding lesson with famous people! The lessons last about an hour every Wednesday at 1PM. There have been 5 so far. Watch from the beginning, they get harder. There are fun activities for you to try too. Use the link below to catch up and get in on the fun.
Is Coding your thing? Mrs. Cageao has created a trail class for learning to code. Call her at 980-355-9122 or send her an email at cageaoa@fortmillschools.org and she will send you a username and password with a class code for Tynker. There are only 30 slots open for now so don't wait.
