Blue Jay Bulletin for Parents
February 10, 2021 - Issue 19
Dear Blue Jay Families,
Dig out your winter gear, we have some cold temperatures in the forecast for the foreseeable future. A few announcements and notifications to keep you warm...
- Valentine class parties will be on Thursday, February 11 due to uncertain weather conditions for Friday.
- We are nearing the end of our "built-in" snow day hours for the 2020-21 school year. Any future snow days will be considered AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) days. Please see letter below for more details.
Well...if you are a Chiefs fan, the game did not quite turn out as we hoped for on Super Bowl Sunday. I read a great post that put things into perspective, the previous 50 years the Chiefs went to one Super Bowl and in the last three years they have been to an AFC Championship and two Super Bowls.
As with all things in life, there is good, sometimes we have to dig a little deeper to find it.
Stay Positive and Healthy,
Mr. Waigand
