Reading Buddies
This week we used puppet as Reading Buddies. Puppets are a great way to engage the attention and imagination of children of all ages. Using puppets in the Library Center is an enjoyable way to promote reading and retelling stories.
Wild Animals as Pets
After watching a video on "Wild animals as pets", children played in the doll house using some really wild animals. They enjoyed the change in the center and some of them concluded that they wouldn't like having them in their homes!
Building Letters
As the end of the year approaches, we are reinforcing literacy skills! Using different centers makes it fun and exciting!
Classifying animals
Children counted the extremities on the animal and then classified them by number. Some animals had no legs (so we studied the number 0), some animals had 2, and others had 4.
Following and Continuing Patterns
