It is a person utilizing Technology in order to engage in society, politics, and government participation. It is defined as people who use the Internet regularly and effectively. To qualify as being a digital citizen, a person must have knowledge, and access to the Internet through Computers, Mobile Phones, and other Social Media Devices.
Positively Branding Yourself Online
Do not post negative things about others. Use only your name while online. Avoid cites that may damage your reputation. Don't post things that are inaccurate or wrong.
Cyber Bullying
Cyberbullying is the use of the Internet and other related technology to harm other people, in a deliberate, repeated, and hostile manner. As it has become more common in society, particularly among young people, legislation and awareness campaigns have arisen to combat it.
Digital Footprint
It is left behind because of interactions in a digital environment. This includes your T.V., your mobile phone, your computer, and any other digital devices you may own. These are used in Behavioural Targeting, Personalization, Targeted marketing, Digital Reputation, and other Social Media or Social Graphing services.
