Powerful Women in European History
Yup, they rule!
Queen Elizabeth II
No one ever thought she would be queen, but she just celebrated sixty years as Queen. (If that doesn't tell you about her power, I don't know what will.)
The IRON LADY
Also, known as Dame Thatcher. She wasn't going to be pushed around by anyone, and was going to help fight Communism from London.
Madame Albright
Julia Childs
Julia, while American born, started her career as in France. When there, she learned about French food. She gained fame in America for her cooking, starting off with her book Mastering the Art of French Cooking. She then started having TV shows to bring French food to the masses of Americans.
