Spring Picture Day Order Form

Grad Nite

We would like to invite you to celebrate your accomplishments with your fellow grads and other high school seniors from all over the country at Grad Nite at Disney California Adventure on June 12, 2020!
Tickets are on sale now for $110 per person, please click here to purchase your ticket on Inspiration Station! Instructional Funds cannot be used as payment for this event, only credit card payment will be accepted. Students can participate in an optional online fundraiser to raise money to help cover the cost of their ticket, see the Inspiration Station listing for the fundraiser details.
Meeting Instructions:
All students attending this event must meet in the parking lot of the Anaheim First Christian Church (520 W South St, Anaheim, CA 92805) at 7:00 p.m. Students will check in with their chaperone and prepare to board the chartered buses to be transported to Disney California Adventure by 7:30 p.m. as one group.
Your ticket includes access to Grad Nite festivities like dance parties and California Adventure rides and attractions from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Students will be bused back to the Anaheim First Christian Church (520 W South St, Anaheim, CA 92805) to be picked up by their parents between 2:45 a.m.-3:00 a.m.
Guest policy: You may register to bring an Inspire or non-Inspire friend or sibling between the ages of 14-20 to accompany you to Grad Nite. Parents cannot attend this event as chaperones. The event will be chaperoned by Inspire Family of Schools staff members.

Starry Night ~ Prom 2020
You're Invited...
Join us for hors d'oeuvres, desserts, interactive art, raffle prizes, all-night photo booth, and rooftop dancing under the stars! High School Inspire students grades 9-12 are eligible to attend and may invite a non-Inspire guest (age 14-20) to join them at this event, so grab a friend and dance the night away at the historic Riverside Art Museum in downtown Riverside. Tickets are limited, so purchase yours early!

San Diego Busker Festival
In its 14th year, this free event – California’s only busker festival – is a family-friendly spectacle and a beloved Seaport Village tradition.
View 24 eye-catching and unique acts -- like sword swallowing, knife throwing, pogo stick tricks and juggling on unicycles -- and help determine the People’s Choice award at Seaport Village on March 7th and 8th. Click the picture for more details.
Free entry. Tips will be accepted by performers.

FIELD TRIP TIP
1. Log in to www.icsinspirationstation.net and you will see “Hi (your name)” on the top right, with a little drop down arrow next to it. *Tip: if you're on your phone, just turn it horizontally and this will show.
2. Press the arrow and it will offer the option of viewing “My Account.”
3. Click on "My Account" and it will list all of the field trips you have signed up for. This includes all the links to the pages where you signed up, so you can find the lead teacher's name, email address and phone number!

Did you know you have access to Inspire's academic video library? These videos are available to support students in reading, math, and speech and can be accessed through the EOS!

Parent Testing Resources Website
The Parent Testing Resources website is complete and ready for you to check out! Here you can find information about the assessments that Inspire offers to its students. Inspire hopes to partner with parents to help students be as successful as possible. We hope you find the resources on this website helpful to increase your understanding of the assessments we give and empower you to prepare your child as they come upon these tests during their educational career.
Did you miss the Writing Webinar last week?
Our featured guest speaker and Student Services writing specialist, Genieva Davidson, provided a close-up tour of the Writing Interventions website she developed. If your student is working at grade level, or above, then in your mind, change the title of this website to Writing Resources because everyone can benefit from the treasure trove of free lessons and how-to videos found here. Click this link to view the clickable topics which will transport you to the free writing resources and how-to video web page. On the site, you can scroll down to view the grade level and resources you need.
Inspiring Parents meets the first Wednesday of each month from 1-2 p.m. In March, we will focus on Elementary Writing Strategies from 1-2 p.m. and Middle to High School Writing Strategies from 2-3 p.m. Bookmark this link to join the online session each month.
