Scheduling Updates for 2024-25
News and timeline for parents and students
Students in 8th, 10th, and 11th grade have submitted plans and met with counselors
- Students in 10th and 11th grade have submitted forms and choices for next year.
- All information is posted on the Counseling website. Counselors are meeting with students who were absent during previous appointments. Extra forms can be picked up in the counseling office.

Time Line for current 9th graders
- On February 27th, 9th graders will receive forms during homeroom. They are encouraged to read through forms and discuss elective choices at home. Students are also encouraged to talk with teachers about appropriate levels of core classes.
- Starting on March 11th, students will meet with counselors to submit course selections.

Dual Enrollment Information and Timeline
- Future juniors and seniors have communicated interest in HCC classes. They must next apply for free tuition and specify courses through HCPS. Information about qualifying for free tuition and updated HCC enrollment information will be available and posted on the CMW website. Counselors will be assisting students through this application process as soon as the window opens ; The application is anticipated to open on March 1st.
CMW will be offering two HCC cohort sections taught by HCC staff taking place at CMW
These are dual Enrollment classes-meaning credits earned are posted on your high school transcript and they fulfill high school graduation requirements.
BA0101: Introduction to Business (3 credits) and BA0203: Principles of Marketing
These courses are taught by an HCC professor online; CMW students are placed with Mr. Davis as he works with the HCC professors. These two courses fulfill that senior capstone requirement of the Business Management Completer Program.
SS0101: Introduction to Sociology and EN0101: English Composition and Literature
These courses are available to juniors only. Two HCC professors will teach these two courses, one in the fall and one in the spring, to the same cohort of junior students.
Students who expressed interest at registration will be guided through the application process in March.
