Celebrations
Town of Cary Honor-a-Teacher Award Nominees and Finalists:
First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who nominated one of our teachers for the Town of Cary Honor-a-Teacher award program during the month of February. The following Northwoods teachers were nominated:
- Aliyah Aal-Anubia (K)
- Jordan Nievinski (K)
- Erin Inagaki (1st)
- Karen Whelan (1st)
- Samantha Ahern (3rd)
- Emily Kiker (5th)
- Nicole Tolp (5th)
Though each of these teachers are deserving of the recognition and the award, each school may only have five finalists. After reviewing a number of factors, including the number of parent nominations, other positive parent communications received this year, and leadership within the school and community, Mrs. Fedich and I are proud to announce that the five finalists for the 2022-23 school year are:
- Jordan Nievinski (K)
- Erin Inagaki (1st)
- Karen Whelan (1st)
- Samantha Ahern (3rd)
- and Nicole Tolp (5th)
Please join me in congratulating our 2022-23 nominees and finalists! It is a true honor to be recognized, especially by our parents/community members.
