Born in Junes 17, 1832 William Crookes was a chemist from London and attended the Royal College of Chemistry. Crookes worked on spectroscopy and invented the Crookes tube and found the element Thallium. Soon after that he created the radiometer. After many more successful years he sadly died April 4, 1919.
