Suzanne Collins

The setting takes place in the future, in the country of Panem. Some locations the story took place in were District 13, District 2, District 12, and the Capitol. Most of the districts are destroyed because of war.

The country of Panem is falling apart from the last Hunger Games, after Katniss escaped. Katniss is hated, and lots of people are dying because of the downfall. In order to save Panem, Katniss becomes a Mockingjay, and she must kill President Snow. All of the suffrage around the Districts is high, and Katniss must fight through pressure to end all of the madness.
