Dr. Parameswaran Hari, Myeloma Cure Panel Expert
Dr. Parameswaran Hari is the Clinical Director of the Adult Bone Marrow Transplant Program and Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. According to myelomasurvival.com, Dr. Hari has the best 2 and 3 year survival rates for myeloma patients. Myeloma patients under Dr. Hari's care at the Medical College of Wisconsin are 13 times more likely to survive 2 years and 7.2 times more likely to survive 3 years than in an average SEER facility. The SEER(Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results) data from the National Cancer Institute provides survival data for many cancers including multiple myeloma.

Pat Killingsworth
Myeloma Beacon columnist and blogger, Pat was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in April of 2007 at age 51. Presently, Pat is in remission. Pat is an author and his books on myeloma include Living with Multiple Myeloma, Stem Cell Transplants - A Patient’s Perspective. He maintains two blogs, Living with Multiple Myeloma and Help with Cancer .
Lori Puente
Lori Puente is a myeloma caregiver and tireless advocate for UAMS/ Arkansas myeloma treatment program. Her husband, Dave was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2008. Lori writes an excellent caregivers blog called Riding The Wave.
Matt Goldman
Matt Goldman was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in May, 2011 at the age of 49. With the help of his team of doctors, he has achieved partial remission and is currently in a maintenance phase of treatment. He had his stem cells collected in December, 2011, but has no current plans to undergo a stem cell transplant. His two primary doctors are Dr. James Berenson and Dr. Vu Phan. Matt is a land use planner for the Port of Long Beach. He is recently married and enjoys spending time with his dog and on his bike. He has a blog that documents his journey, www.mattvsmyeloma.com and is also on twitter at @mpg61.
Keith Virgin
Keith Virgin is a 50 yr old lawyer/Public Defender in Kentucky. He was diagnosed with MGUS/ Smoldering Myeloma in 2011 and remains stable. Keith is being treated at the UAMS- Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy in Little Rock Ark. My blog is Keith's Myeloma Blog on Myeloma Beacon.
