Cons:
-Does not provide enough energy so your body is forced into ketosis. This causes issues with your kidneys
-It has long term effects on your heart
-You miss out on vital nutrients such as fruits and vegetables

- Fish such as salmon, trout, and haddock
- Eggs that are Omega-3 enriched or pastured

I think overall, the Atkins diet can be a very successful way to lose weight but should be used in the right way by the right people.
