Finish Strong!
While we are seeing glimmers of the light at the end of the tunnel and dream of sand between our toes, let's be very conscious of the precious, little time we have with our students. Please revisit the faculty handbook, check your email each morning and afternoon, be mindful of professional expectations regarding arrival and dismissal, as well as dress code requirements. On designated days such as field trips, field day, and Fridays you are welcome to dress down in jeans. Movie clips can be used as instructional tools. However, full length movies are rarely appropriate for learning environments. Deviation from normal class schedules should be cleared with the office including extended or extra recess.
Our actions and attitudes will transfer to our students. Let's make sure they see that we we use each moment as an opportunity for learning and growth. Their success should remain our focus until the last moment of the school year.
