Art In the Renaissance
There are many things the Renaissance introduced to us, many of these have to do with art. They made it possible for a picture to come to life and to make it look like you are part of the painting.
Perspective
A point in a picture where you base yourself to make a flat object look three-dimensional, and to show the width, height, length and position. Perspective art was first analyzed by Filippo Brunelleschi. It created the ability to make a painting look three-demensional that is today used a lot as well.
Frescos
The art technique of painting on a moist surface with colors ground up in water of a lime-water mixture. The first to discover this method of painting was Isaac Master. This art technique is still used today and is very useful and makes paintings have a more realistic look to them.
Balance
The sense of distribution of perceived visual weights that offset one another. This method was first used by
Smufato
Smufato technique in art is to tone down. It was first used by leonardo Da Vinci and he shows it in one of his most famous paintings, The Mona Lisa.
Realism
Realism is a representation in art or literature of objects, actions, or social conditions as they actually are, without idealization or presentation in abstract form.
