ATHLETICS TEAMS at HSI
For each athletic team at HSI, you must try out. In order to try out for any team, the student should know the sport's basics(passing, dribbling, etc) and the rules. All students that try out will be competing against the other students at tryouts and the best will be selected to join the team. For each team, there will be at least two days of practice each week and competition days will be based off of the league schedule. Student-athletes are expected to pass all of their classes and follow all school rules. In order to try out for a sport at HSI, you must have an athletic waiver turned in. You can get an athletic waiver from the front office or either coach.
If you have any questions about any of the teams, please see Coach Baldwin or Coach Guidry.

Important Advisory to Parents
1.Please utilize visitor parking and not teacher parking in the morning drop off times, when you park in the teacher parking area you are making our teachers and staff late to service our students.
2. For the safety of our students please only drop students off in car pool lanes at the indicated spots. With the constant flux of traffic in both directions at the entrance of our schools , this can be an extremely dangerous situation for our students.
3.Please use proper speed limit, 10 mph, when driving through our drop off and pick up lanes. We would like to remind you that there are three campuses here and we don't want any accidents.
EN ESPAÑOL
