The Skipper Scoop
Week of October 8th
Another fall weekend flew by. The Skippers football team fought Kirtland Friday night and played their hearts out. A rainy Saturday morning ended in a fun and beautiful Homecoming dance and celebration. The kids were great and looked fantastic. The DJ went out of his way to compliment the behavior of our high school kids- another proud principal moment in the books. We all learned a few new dance moves and had a great time dancing the night away. Thank you to our teachers and staff who helped make the night special for all of us. Your efforts do not go unnoticed. Thank you to Dee Dee Palmer and Anna Coll for unlimited pop and root beer floats!
This week we are looking forward to Senior Night for the girls Volleyball team. Make sure you check out their hype video at the bottom of this newsletter-its pretty fantastic!
Infinite Campus has been utilized by our parents more than ever. Thanks for checking in on your child's grades and attendance. It takes a village! Quarter one is ending on October 23rd.
Looks like we get a review of summer this week...enjoy it while you can.
Have a great week,

HOCO Pep Rally
Thanks to the academic boosters we have a brand new and fully functioning sound system. It makes all the difference in this year's pep rallies. This Homecoming pep rally was our best one yet. Thanks to everyone for making it so spirited.
