WHERE PARENT HUSKIES GET THEIR NEWS

A Note from PTO:

As we get ready to take our Winter Break, we just wanted to pause to thank all of you for your continued interest and participation in PTO. The CSA Lincoln staff does an excellent job of providing a rich and unique educational experience for our children and PTO is happy to be a small part of adding to that experience through events, special projects and financial support, but none of our efforts would be possible without the wonderful community of parents and friends we have here at CSA Lincoln. We hope you enjoy celebrating and relaxing with your family and friends over the break. We look forward to the endless possibilities the New Year brings for our school and for our CSA Lincoln community!

December 14th 2015 - Meeting Recap

Playground Project Update

Excitement is building around the playground project! The Playground Committee and Steve Forster from BCSC met with Randy Royer from Blue Marble Design LLC today to view the preliminary designs for the play space and they were absolutely amazing! There were two designs presented and while each were very different in concept and price, they both were able to address many of the needs and wants we had discussed in the first meeting. Below are just a few of the items presented. After gathering the group feedback, Blue Marble Design LLC will be going back to the drawing board to render what should be very close to the final plan for our play area and will present it to the committee in January!

Pacers CSA Lincoln PTO Family Night

Mark your calendars for Thursday, March 24, 2016 to meet us at Bankers Life Fieldhouse to watch the Indiana Pacers take on the New Orleans Pelicans! We will have seats blocked off for the school in the upper balcony so we can all sit together and cheer as our name comes across the ribbon board at half-time! Tickets will be $20 and include your seat, dinner, a Pacers souvenir, and a shot from the free throw line after the game. A portion of the cost of each ticket will come back to the PTO. Watch for more information and order forms to come home in the new year for this fun event!

Kroger Community Rewards

This is a very easy way to help us out without any extra effort! If you have a Kroger card and shop at the Kroger located on National Rd. you just need to log into your online Kroger card account and designate CSA Lincoln as your Community Rewards recipient. Participation in this program is open to anyone who shops at the National Rd. Kroger so get family and friends with Kroger cards involved! See details below.

IMPORTANT Reminder for current participants: For those of you who participated in 2015, this is an annual election so in order to keep your card active for CSA Lincoln PTO, you must go back in to your account after January 1st and re-enroll CSA Lincoln as your Community Rewards recipient for 2016.

Box Tops for Education

It's almost Box Tops competition time again! The competition will run from January 18 - February 19. The leader board will be posted inside the gym and be updated every week throughout the competition. We were almost half way to our $1500 annual goal after the fall competition so keep clipping and get ready to send in those Box Tops! More info will come closer to the start of the competition.

Labels for Education

Thank you to Heather Patterson who volunteered to fill the role of the Labels for Education Manager! Labels for Education can be turned in at any time in the little red schoolhouse located right inside the doors to the school's main entrance (just put them in the Box Tops bin) or you can continue to send them in with your Box Tops during competition time and we will make sure they get where they need to go!
