A Weekly Look at Grant Elementary School & the Grant PTA

Week of April 22, 2019

A Message from Principal Grey:

Helping Your Student Feel Confident and Calm at the End of the School Year

We all know that the end of the school year is an extremely busy time and can be stressful. Between the end of the year school projects, state testing, extra-curricular activities, and events, our students have a lot of their minds. It is not always easy to recognize the connection between this stress and some of the challenging student behaviors we see this time of year. I was recently sent an article by a colleague (included below) that helps identify signs of student stress at the end of the school year and offers some great strategies on how to best support students during this time of transition.

Thank you for being your child's best advocate!
