Lesson 25 Reading Tests/Spelling Test


I will be giving points for Reading homework packets. I will be giving 5 points for the packet if turned in by Friday. If it is turned in the following Monday - 2 points. It is important that the students are completing this packet and writing the words as you guide them if needed.

We will be reading the two stories and talking about them in detail over the course of the week. We will be continuing the stories from last week and taking our test next Friday on the lesson 25

We are beginning to explore All about books. We will be writing in the next few weeks an informational book about animals.

Our goal for writing is the same...

capitals, punctuation, spelling High frequency words correctly, sounding out beginning, middle end sounds for unknown words, and finger spacing.

Reading Tests

To better prepare students for second grade...

Our weekly reading test - I will continue to read comprehension. However, the students will be responsible for reading the vocabulary and phonics tests.In second grade they are responsible for reading all of their tests themselves.
