KCP Marching band will be in the parade downtown on Monday, October 10, 2022. The parade starts at 1 pm #58 and will be on ABC 7.

The girl’s flag football team would like to invite the Faculty, Staff, Friends, and Family to a touch football game this Friday, Oct 14th after school. Warmup and stretching will start around 3:30 with the game starting at 4pm at Kelly Park.

Nov. 2 - FY 22-23 Sustainable Community Schools (SCS) Full Cohort PD! We need parent participation - The Chicago Teacher Union (1901 W Carroll Ave) is hosting our first SCS Full Cohort PD on November 3, 2022, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Recovery classes are now until Dec. 20th, Monday through Thursday from 3:15 to 5:45 pm. Only two absences are allowed. On Early Release Wednesdays students are allowed to leave the building. The $25 fee for each class needs to be paid by next week.

Nov. 21 - Parent-Teacher Conferences will be from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, both virtual and in-person in order to accommodate our parents (Day of non-attendance for students).

PEBT cards, Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer, (Transferencia Electrónica de Beneficios por

Pandemia), deposits started on the 11th going thru the 21st. If someone does not have a PEBT card they can request a new one. Tarjetas

FINE ARTS: Our recent graduate, Dariana Garcia Jimenez's artwork was chosen for the Canvas for Conservation contest, sponsored by Lincoln Park Zoo. This is through a yearly partnership we have with the zoo that focuses on endangered animals. The selected student's winning artwork is featured on zoo merchandise and is sold online. The sold products benefit the student and the zoo's conservation efforts. This year her work will be available for purchase on T-shirts, notebooks, stickers, mugs, etc. It would be great to acknowledge her and support our former and current Kelly kids. Our Studio classes are partnering with the zoo again this year with a focus on two new species.

The Counseling Team is having Halloween Activities with the students in the Lunchroom on Monday, Oct 31st from 3rd to 8th periods!
