Conductors, Semiconductors, and Insulators
Conductors
Electric current can flow freely, in an insulator it cannot.Metals such as copper typify conductors. An example of a Conductors is copper, water, gold.
Insulators
Are materials that greatly impede or stop the flow of electrons with very high resistance. An example of insulators are paper, Styrofoam, rubber, glass, dry air.
