Mrs. Embretson, March 18
Week at a glance...
Writing: We continue to focus on opinion writing and using a writer's checklist to help make our writing better.
Math: Did your child tell you about Pi day? Though it's a concept covered in older grades, we learned about measuring circles and why Pi day is celebrated on March 14.
Social Studies/Science/Health: Our Let's Find Out magazine taught us the old saying "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb". We also learned about tools for measuring different kinds of weather.
Snack Helpers, March 21-25
Our class attendance this week: 96.09% Whew! We made it this week. Hopefully we're done with most of the sickness. Now we get to worry about allergies
