The Texas Education Agency has recently decided to delay district accountability ratings. I am including a press release from TEA about the delay and possible changes.

We are waiting to hear when special session #3 will be held with our state legislators. Districts across the state remain hopeful that the state officials will address the issue of teacher raises and school funding. Check out the NEW Henrietta ISD Education Foundation that aims to engage the community to empower educators by providing grants and other ways to support them. We are excited that the Education Foundation has awarded 10 teacher grants that will be announced during the halftime performance of the September 22nd football game.
