MILESTONES - DONE & DELIVERED TO THE WAREHOUSE!
Staff Updates
We are at the point in the year where some shifts, hires, and switches will be happening. In order to keep you up to date, we will post staff updates weekly as they happen. There will be fewer changes/hires this year from last year.
- Ling Goh, MOID Parapro, will serve as our MID teacher next year! Ling has entered the Georgia TAPP (Teacher Alternative Preparation Program) and is ready for a class of her own! When you see Ling in the hallway, be sure to share your congratulations and gratitude!
- Lindsey Eipper, Former MBES teacher and supply will join the third grade team! Lindsey is a familiar face at Mt. Bethel - having supplied for Melina during both of her maternity leaves. If you would like to reach out, please do so at lindseyeipper@gmail.com.
- Jana Troskie, PE Teacher at Pickett's Mill, will join the PE team! Jana spent last Friday at Mt. Bethel to see if the position would be a good fit. She LOVED it! Admin happened to go out and watch during 5th grade PE's Kickball Unit! Coach Troskie has some solid kickball skills! If you would like to reach out, please do so at Jana.Troskie@cobbk12.org.
- Jaime Davies has received her SSA Assignments. She will be split between Mt. Bethel and Walton!
- Half time custodian, Willie Hogan has resigned. His last day was Wednesday, April 18th. We are working franticially to fill his position.
BUCCANEER BRAVOS
- HATS OFF TO OUR TESTING COORDINATORS!! Best testing season - and most complicated to date! Thanks, also, Maria & Faith for the strange weather on Tuesday and Blizzard celebration!
- MANY THANKS TO OUR MAKE-UP MOB: Kellie Oakes, Mary Reese, Katie Walker, and Heather Kindschy! They were on the spot in a flash to ensure that any and all make-ups were completed efficiently!
- CHECK OUT OUR CAFE' STAFF'S BULLETIN BOARD featured on the Cobb's Food and Nutrition Website!
- TAKE A BOW, PTA! Our PTA won the Eastern Cobb County Council of PTA's Platinum Cup for the second year in a row! The Platinum Award is presented to the school who wins the most individual awards. That would be the Mt. Bethel PTA! If you see Carrie or Dara (our presidents), be sure to congratulate them!

Parents can be notified via email, via weekly folder, or via other written notification. Parents should be notified NO LATER than Friday, 4/27.
Sample of this communication may look like:
Dear Parent,
The purpose of this correspondence is to notify you that we are half-way through this marking period. At this time, your student has a (C, D, F, 1, N - whatever it is) in the area of ____________________. We will continue to work and provide differentiated instruction in your child's area of difficulty.
