Author Visit
On October 4th, author Clif Edwards will be visiting our Horace Mann classrooms to share his book Missouri Farm Girl. This book tells the true story of Mr. Edward's mother, Grace, who was raised in Maryville and was a former Horace Mann student back in the 1940s. We are excited to hear from this author about a former Horace Mann student and to learn more about Missouri life in the 1940s. Families were invited to attend in the weekly newsletter.
Mr. Edwards is offering this visit free of charge and will be gifting a copy of the book to our school. This book will be added to the Horace Mann library to make it available for checkout by teachers and students.
