The mission of the Macao Health Code would be to help the people of Macao in keeping their general wellbeing by means of a series of assessments and therapeutic modalities based on the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Health Problems used globally. The principal areas covered in this syllabus are'Thematic Management',''Cerebral Palsy and Its Prevention','Maternal Health and Community Development',''Meningitis and its Remedy' and'Rheumatic and skeletal ailments'. The critical concepts driving the development of this syllabus are: the recognition that individual differences and human causative agents determine individual answers; the significance of community-based caution as opposed to institutional care; the interdependence of individuals; and the significance of research studies. The primary sources found in this syllabus would be the MACao Health Code, WHO International Classification of Diseases, World Health Organization, along with the Joint Commission International's Global Burden of Disease study.
There are eight important focus areas contained in the plan of the Macao Health Code. The first focuses on early identification and prevention of ailments. This area addresses the observation of Hong Kong residents' food intake during the weekdays and the times following meals as well as the frequency of intakes of drinks aside from water at home and at the office. The second area focuses on the evaluation of micronutrient intake as a basis for nutritional evaluation of the macao Hong Kong inhabitants. The next region addresses the assessment of calcium and vitamin D from urine samples as well as blood samples.
The fourth place focuses on the monitoring of serum antioxidant factors. The fifth focuses on the monitoring of blood pressure levels and blood sugar levels. The sixth focuses on observation of the CADR or the Chinese Crested Currency Rate. The seventh targets the instruction of the contact details of the Hong Kong resident's family and contact numbers of their private health professionals along with their corresponding clinics.
The Macao Health Code also includes the provisions for the documentation of emergency medical care. It stipulates the location of the nearest hospital with an emergency department. The emergency medical care of the Hong Kong residents is offered by the nearest hospitals as listed in the emergency area. To be able to facilitate the documentation of this patient's condition, the designated health officer of this community is needed to accompany the patient to the hospital. The emergency room doctor in Hong Kong can give instructions or refer the patient to the correct specialist. In the event the hospital is not listed in the emergency room, the local doctor may offer instructions.
In order to ensure the Macao Health Code is detected, a Macao Health Declaration form has to be available in the community. This form is obtained in the local government office and affixed to the door of the residence of the resident. The form includes the private information of the resident and contact numbers of their loved ones and immediate relatives, as well as the contact number of the closest doctor in the region. If a resident is hospitalized, then his hospitalization report is generally attached to his personal declaration form. In the case of minor children, the physician ought to be contacted immediately so the child could be returned to the house in 1 piece.
The electronic health statement form can be collected at any of the Health Ministry offices on the date indicated on the form. On collecting the shape in the Health Ministry office, it is stamped with the seal of the Health Ministry and forwarded for signature by the applicant. The applicant may then proceed to sign up for digital health declaration form and return to the concerned local Health Department for verification. On receipt of the signature of the offender, his case is confirmed and his certificate of eligibility has been issued.
