What type of benefits do employees get?
- Income benefits- replaces a portion of any wages you loss from work-related injury or illness.
- Medical benefits- pays necessary medical care
- Burial benefits- pays some of deceased employee's funeral expenses
- Death benefits- gives some money for lost family income to eligible members of the employee killed on the job
What options do employers have?
If your employer does not provide any benefits to you than they must pay and fill out paperwork every month. Employees that are not covered and do get injured on the job they could end up suing a company.
