Stanley Middle School
Week of January 10
Welcome to Second Semester
Wow! January 2022!!!
All students will start their second semester classes on Monday. Students who had science last semester will have social studies this semester and vice versa. Students will also have new core plus classes (unless they are in Spanish 1 (8th grade), Band or Chorus). Please let us know if your student needs any school supplies to help them have a great start to the semester.
Parents, please make sure your student comes to school with the things they need to be successful and that they leave items at home that cause a distraction. I encourage you to look through their bookbag each evening or morning to make sure they have packed only what they need to be successful for school.
While mask wearing is optional, please make sure your student is clear about your expectation for mask wearing at school. Remind all students that mask wearing is required on school buses.
Students will be taking their middle of the year iReady assessment at various points over the next few weeks. Please remind your student to do their best on this assessment.
Also, any student who wants to play sports NEXT FALL, must end this semester passing 4 of 5 classes and have no more than 13 absences.
We are looking forward to a great second semester. Please let us know if there is anyway we can help you and your student.
