Polar bears live in the Arctic. Their fur helps them survive in the freezing climate. They don't all live together, they can be found in four regions of the Arctic.

Polar bears eat a variety of meats including fish and seals. They eat all meat. This means they are carnivores.

Polar bears have backbones. They are also mammals. They are classified into the vertebrate group. This means they have a backbone.

Polar bears adapt by using camouflage. Their fur blends into the ice and snow. This comes in handy when trying to sneak up on prey and slipping away from predators including other polar bears.
