New Books on Order

Mrs. Haas is trying WordPress

I will be starting a library blog using WordPress. The posts may include tech shortcuts, book reviews, research links etc. My first post should be out sometime this week.

Thank you Mrs. Pixler for your great teaching and encouragement in this new endeavor!

Tech Tips for Students and Teachers

https://infogr.am/education

An easy Chart and Infographic tool. Create and publish beautiful visualizations of your data with infogr.am. Try the free educational account. It only takes a few minutes to sign up. Infogr.am is one of those sites that has a free version with basic tools and products and then a paid version to expand. You can create an Infographic, a Chart, or a Map of the data you enter. Once you select what product you want to create, there are built in themes you can choose from. You can add in text, pictures, and media easily to create your infographic. Data can be entered manually or from importing an already created spreadsheet. It is integrated with Google Drive so docs and spreadsheets can easily be moved into Infogr.am. One of the neat features is a button that allows you to add integration within the site utilizing Google Search to find the information you need. Try it out for yourself!
