Properties of hydrogen
The image is based on the iconic atomic model proposed by Bohr in 1913.
A colorless odorless gas. It has the lowest density of all gases.
Uses of hydrogen
Some see hydrogen gas as the clean fuel of the future – generated from water and returning to water when it is oxidized. Hydrogen-powered fuel cells are increasingly being seen as ‘pollution-free’ sources of energy and are now being used in some buses and cars.
Where is hydrogen found?
Hydrogen is found in all growing things—biomass. It is also an abundant element in the earth's crust.
Article Summary
The most simple element found. May be found in many organic compounds. It's in high energy engines and produces almost no pollution. In the future people could use hydrogen for energy.
What are some benefits to using hydrogen for energy?
