Student Led Conferences
Go to the link above to sign up for Spring Student Led Conferences. Conferences will be held on:
- Monday, February 10 from 4:00 to 8:00
What is the purpose of our student-led conferences? The main purpose of our conferences is to allow your child the time and place to demonstrate his or her learning to you. This is not a time to have a discussion concerning grades. In each of our classrooms, the teachers should have stations set up for your child to show you what they have learned this year. The teachers should be moving through the team classrooms and have brief conversations with you. If you feel there is more time needed for one-to-one interaction with the teacher(s) to discuss classroom performance, please schedule that for another time. If you are having trouble scheduling your conference online, call the BMS office at 402-715-6100.
Student Laptops
Students need to bring their laptops to Conferences when they attend with their parents.
Eighth grade students applying for the Rotary Honor Roll go to this LINK. Applications are due no later than 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 20. For questions about the process contact Jenny Powers, at (402)715-6111 or jepowers@mpsomaha.org.

On March 3 at Millard West High School, from 6:30-7:30 PM, Millard Public Schools and our Interfaith Advisory will partner with Stand Together and Rethink Technology (START) to host a parent information night. The purpose of this event is to educate parents and the community about student online activity and management.
START has been nationally recognized for their work and was featured by Diane Sawyer on her Screen Time special last spring. Together we will learn how to begin the conversations that every family needs to have with their children about the use of digital technology in their lives.

Girls Basketball Varsity /JV vs. Andersen Middle, February 3
In Lady Basketball action the Bulldogs Varsity team held the Wolverines to only one made shot from the field as the rest of Andersen's points were free throws. The final score of the Varsity was Beadle 45, Andersen 19. Excellent team defense by Brooke Wenninghoff, Amber Aiken, Taylor Hansen, Norah Gessert, Hannah Heftie, Macie Rock, and Neleigh Gessert led the Bulldogs to victory.
- In the Junior Varsity game, the Bulldogs fell short to the Wolverines with a final score of 33-22. Again the Bulldogs continued to excel working together as a team, but the Wolverines scoring frenzy in the second quarter was too much to overcome in the end.
Girls Basketball Varsity /JV vs. Kiewit Middle, February 4
- The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Kiewit to take on the Colts. In Lady Bulldog style the Varsity team came out fierce and focused as could be after a game the night before and defeated the Colts 33-11. Going into the 4th quarter the score was 31-6, reflective of the Bulldogs excellent defense by Macie Rock, Hannah Heftie, Norah Gessert, Taylor Hansen, Neleigh Gessert, Amber Aiken, and Brooke Wenninghoff.
- The Junior Varsity game, the Lady Bulldogs fought to the very end as the Colts led at half-time. With some clutch free throws in the fourth by Anna Dunne, the Bulldogs were able to come out on top with a final score of 25-20. Again, excellent team defense and camaraderie amongst the team rocketed the Bulldogs to a win!
Coach: Mrs. Hagaman

Coaches: Mr. Sukraw and Mr. Koch
Wrestling vs. Kirn Middle, February 4
- Our Beadle wrestlers were unable to defeat Kirn in a duel. Despite the loss, there were bright points of achievement. Simon Allgood, Alex Bosley, Parker Nordaker and Issac McIlhon all won on points. Winning by pin were Imran Murad, Gavin VanOrnam, Truit Logan and twice by Harrell Jackson. Way to go guys!

Eventually the Safe2Help hotline will replace the Safe Schools Hotline. The Safe Schools Hotline will continue to be available throughout this school year as well.
