Camden Education Foundation Reception

There will be a Camden County Education Foundation reception at Camden Intermediate School on Monday, May 2 at 3:30. All grant recipients should be prepared to share 2 minutes worth of information about how you have put the grant money to use for your students.

Progress Reports

Progress Reports should go home with students on Wednesday, May 4.

Senior Meeting

Seniors will meet in the cafeteria during Bruin Success on Monday to discuss graduation and a few other items. We will have another brief meeting on Thursday for graduation voting.

AP Testing

AP testing will take place this week and next week (May 2, 4, 5, 6, and 11). The tests will be held in the Bruin Lab. The bells will be off during testing.

COA College Liaison

Camden County Schools has partnered with College of the Albemarle to provide our students with a college liaison once a week. Kelvin Brown will serve as our liaison and will be on campus Tuesdays from 9:00-11:00. If you know of a student who has potential but no college plans, you can refer them to Mr. Brown. More information will be forthcoming.

Field Trips and Assemblies

To protect instructional time during the final weeks of school, the School Improvement Team discussed the possibly of using Friday, May 6 (also the day of the prom) as a cut-off date for field trips, assemblies, and other events that will pull large numbers of students out of class. If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call.

Bruin Success

Monday should be the first day that fourth nine-weeks grades are used to determine a student's placement for Bruin Success. Therefore, if a student currently has a 79 or below in power school, he/she should report to Bruin Boost.
